Spain lifts travel restrictions to Colombians

Updated: Oct 21, 2021

Due to the evolution of the pandemic, Colombian travelers have faced restrictions to enter Spain this last month. However, since September 1st , Colombia has been considered a moderated risk country, which means having free entry into our country as long as people meet certain health requirements.

VACCINATED TOURISTS: In order to travel to Europe, it is necessary to have the complete course of the Covid-19 vaccine. This must be one of those authorized by the European Medicines Agency, which in this case are Moderna, Pfizer, Janssen and AstraZeneca. In addition, the card must specify the date of the application of each dose since the complete dose must have been at least 14 days before your trip.

QUARANTINE: Quarantine is no longer necessary for passengers from Colombia.

NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION: In addition to having the round-trip ticket, financial support, etc., it is essential to have the Covid-19 vaccination card and a form that must be filled out within 48 hours before the trip. All the instructions to fill out the form can be found at https://spth.gob.es/. Once the application is complete, a QR code will be generated, which may be required by the Spanish authorities.
